Threats And Warnings
The homes of many animals (the freshwater biome itself) is being polluted. If the water gets too polluted, all the animals and plants could die and the food chain would break apart and create havoc. Fish can't live in dirty water, and the air won't be purified with the trees being cut down. One thing occurs, and chain of critical events follows. We must preserve the great freshwater. Plus, we drink that water when it is purified.
Like all biomes throughout the land, there are endangered species living there last breaths in the wild. We can save them, and I will name a few just to see if you recognize the animal. I would highly dislike to know if you owned an endangered animal. In the Everglades of Florida, the largest freshwater area, probably has the most endangered. There are: the Florida panther, the wood stork, the American alligator, the Eastern Indigo snake, and the Everglades Snail Kite, which is a bird. All of these animals live in the freshwater, but it doesn't necessarily mean that all freshwater animals are either sea mammals or fish. The freshwater is diverse.
If you were wondering, there is not a fear at all for climate change, because freshwater fish adapt to any temperature as long as they are still in the freshwater. That means the food chain can continue because animals that feed on those fish won't starve because the don't have enough food.
